Wings & Words
Join us for a day of lively literary fun! Site of the famous Flambards trilogy, Stow Maries is proud to welcome Kathleen Peyton - the author - for a lively Q n A session. Expert on the Great War and its impact on Women, Dr Vivian Newman, will also be giving one of her interesting and well-attended talks. With poetry readings, a chance to pick up signed copies of books and the Tea and Cake bar open, you'd think that was enough. Not for us! We've also got the first performance of an Operetta, written in the trenches, since 1917! We've got the British Printing Society and their marvelous machines, Flight-Line Tours, Hobbie Play-Horses, the Mess, the Museums....how will you fit it all in to one day?!
Adult Admission - £10 (on the day, no advance tickets required)
Under 16 - FREE
Flight-line Tours* - £5 per person.
*Please note numbers on these tours are restricted for safety reasons. Tours will be delivered subject to availability
