Wings and Wheels 2026

Join us at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome for our signature event, raising vital funds for our museum.

VISITORS:

To help you, if you book your tickets before 01 April 2025, WE WILL PAY YOUR BOOKING FEES!!! Tickets that are left, if there are any, will be on the door at a higher rate. There has been no tickets on the door for two years.

As part of the event, weather permitting, our own and guest aircraft will entertain and amaze in the skies above us, just like they did in 1918. On the ground, hundreds of cars will gleam in the sun as you wander amongst them.

Opportunities to get up close and personal to the aircraft for that vital photograph will be available on the day. As will our famous Airmen's Mess Café, Bar (provided by local brewery Datum Attitude) BBQ and full access to all of our award-winning exhibitions.

This event ALWAYS sells out, so please book early to avoid disappointment .

1. If you want to display a car, you MUST register in advance - see below. Unregistered cars will not display, will be parked in the regualr car park and be charged admission. SCROLL DOWN TO FIND OUT MORE.
2. Well behaved dogs on short leads at all times are very welcome, as long as they have responsible owners.
3. We are unable to confirm the flying program as it may change right up until take off - all flying acitvity is subject to weather and serviceability.
4. Please, please book early to avoid disppointment - be it to visit, display or fly in.

DISPLAY CARS AND MOTORBIKES:

Registration for this event opens on October 20th 2025 and closed at 5pm on April 26th 2026. If you have not had a confirmed email from the musuem, clearly stating that you are registered, then you have not been allocated a display space and will only be able to attend as a paying guest, parking in general parking.

You need to download this form ( You can also click here). You will need to either print it our and fill it in by hand or add your text to the PDF. You then need to e-mail it to info@stowmaries.org.uk with a recent Hi-Res photograph of the car you are hoping to bring (No Facebook photos, please!).

No display spaces will be allocated on the day. Please avoid any embarrasment by not arriving at the event and expecting to display your vehicle if it has not been rconfirmed as registered.
