Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome Events - 2026

As part of our ongoing commitment to our supporters, 2026 sees a bumper crop of events of all kinds. We are dedicated to highlighting that there is 'often something on at Stow' with a series of 'Added Value' events - where admission fees are the same as regular entry, but you can enjoy our brilliant museum with just a little bit 'extra'. All at no extra cost.

Remember, for these Added Value events, young people under 11 years in age are Admission Free!

THIS EVENT: The Summer Fly-In

Calling all aviation fans - or even, complete strangers to aviation!

Our Summer Fly-in is a perfect chance to catch a peek at the aircraft that fly throughout our area, all the time raising vital funds for our museum.

As you enjoy your visit to our site, strolling around the galleries and exhibitions, aircraft will be landing and parking up within metres of you on our flight line.

While there will be no aerial displays, this a great chance to see our museum at its best - with aircraft rolling down the strips.

Not only do you get to enjoy the aircraft, but your admission gains you all the benefits of enjoying our award-winning exhibitions, hangars and tours. All for the regular admission fee!

• All air activity is weather-dependent.
• Please note - there are no 'Mess-Only' admissions available for this event.
• All visitors will need to purchase admission (online or on the gate if not sold out).
• Propeller Club Members can enjoy this event without any admission charge.
• Well behaved dogs on short leads at all times are welcome, with their responsible owners.
• All images from 2025 Fly-in events.

We accept single-engined, fixed wing aircraft (no rotary or dual-axis controlled aircraft) and would love to hear from you. A special discount landing fee is available, too!

PPR MUST be arranged in advance and spaces will fill up quickly.
