Armed Forces Day
One of the biggest Armed Forces Day events on the Essex calendar. Hosted by Maldon District Council and held at the unique and fitting venue of Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, near Maldon.
Free entry to the public,
The event begins at 11.00am until 3.00pm, with a Parade and Flag-raising ceremony at 1.00pm. It is a very special event in which we pay tribute to our Armed Forces.
There will be lots to see and explore, with displays of military vehicles, guided tours of the site, Museums to explore, and WW1 Period aircraft.
