Events at Stow Maries
Armed Forces Day
One of the biggest Armed Forces Day events on the Essex calendar, free entry to the public, and held at the unique and fitting venue of Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, near Maldon.
The event begins at 11.00am until 3.00pm, with a Parade and Flag-raising ceremony at 1.00pm. It is a very special event in which we pay tribute to our Armed Forces.
There will be lots to see and explore, with displays of military vehicles, guided tours of the site, Museums to explore, WW1 Period aircraft, and a great range of traders.
