BE2 in flight

The Royal Visit

Today the Aerodrome got the Royal seal of approval from the Duke of Gloucester, as he joined over 100 volunteers and guests to mark the centenary of the first ever medical evacuation by air and of the first operational flights from the airfield. He also opened our new museum, Squadron 37. The sun shone, and so did the aerodrome in all its glory. Thank you to everyone who took part in our special day.
