VE Day Street Party 2020

For the first time ever, the aerodrome will commemorate WW2 with its very own VE Day Street Party.
This special one off event, will send the site into a WW2 frenzy, with a day packed with family fun.
As the site returned back to farming in the early 1920s, we will have Furzedown Holdings sheep and farming machinery on site.
We will also have Land Army Girls, Fancy Dress competitions, Dancing, Singing as well and activities for the children, including Welly Wanging & Egg & Spoon Races.
A local living memories talk will also take place in The Dope Room.
In addition our volunteers are hard at work creating Stow’s very own Anderson Shelter.
The Mess will be offering traditional party food, as well as Ice Cream and Candy Floss Available on site.
We will also be joined by Chin Chin a fabulous Gin Bar created from a horsebox!
This will be a fabulous unique day on site, one that is not to be missed.

£2.50 children 15 & under.
