Stow Maries memorial wood commemoration project

Memorial plaque

On 9th November, Remembrance Sunday, Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome launched the Memorial Wood Commemoration Project. 5,500 mixed broadleaf woodland trees have been planted at the aerodrome and anyone who lost a relative in WW1 can buy a commemorative plaque, engraved with their relative's details. Each plaque will be attached to a post next to a tree in the woodland in their memory.

If you are interested in purchasing a commemorative plaque please download an application form.
